Less than 24 hours to go until NaNoWriMo 2018 kicks off. I’ve had a busy old summer and thought that I probably had enough on the ‘to do’ list without trying to write a novel, but then I remembered what fun it was. And so here I am with quill, pen and typewriter at the ready – and, of course, a new notebook. I am even less prepared than I’ve been in previous years – I’ve just looked back to 2017 and see that I had a rough plot and a cover three weeks before N-Day. This year, I have a working title, a working cover, and a vague idea of a starting point. Beyond that, I’m just going to go with the flow …
