Flawed Characters
Fenton! Mein Mädchen from Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor by Nicolai
I can’t believe that it’s nearly over for another year … I continue to write on a daily basis, and today’s words focused on fleshing out my main character. I realised she was rather too perfect – a tad autobiographical perhaps? So I’ve now made her flawed and, yes, the experts are right, she is so much more interesting now that she’s determined, will stop at nothing to get what she wants, trample on anyone who gets in her way and, of course, there are now no traces of autobiography;-)
