I had a bit of an early morning sprint and managed to pen enough words to earn my 25k badge. The dashboard is looking good – three more badges to get (uploading for 30 days in a row, the 40k word mark and the winners’ cup). Slightly more than halfway there and yet not quite halfway through the month, so life is looking pretty good in my Nanoland. Sadly, the same cannot be said for Ilse and her daughter, for whom, despite the efforts of the kindly landlord, things are about to take a nasty turn for the worse …
