Nearly there ...
Bacarolle from Les Contes d'Hoffmann by Offenbach
I think I’ve nearly finished the novel, but so much of it is hand-written scribble that I need to spend some time transcribing it. Notwithstanding, I’m hoping I’ll have enough words to ‘win’ NaNo2018 tomorrow.
I’ve got the ending sorted out, but am struggling with the penultimate chapter. I’m sketching out various mechanisms for getting from A to B, but they all sound really lame and too coincidental. I know what the Vienna Dossier is, I know who has it and where it is, but I need our protagonist to find out where it is in a way that sounds realistic. I feel as though I need to introduce something else to the mix, but what?
