One day left of NaNo – it’s flown past even more quickly than in previous years. I have now finished the very rough draft of the whole thing, but I want that last badge and so continue to write. This morning, in the light of the filthy weather, I wrote a rain scene that can be inserted somewhere to darken the mood.
I do sometimes wonder whether my novels would be more upbeat if NaNo took place in July instead of November …
